Registry Ways
Due to the fact that the method needs you to do some changes in your registry and it needs some advanced computer tech, we recommend the computer novice to try some other ways.
It is of vital importance to firstly create a full backup of your registry before you want to set up your changes. This step will help you avoid any mistakes during the process of changing.
To Run Internet Explorer Full Screen
Step One:
1. Click Start. Go to Run and type in regedit. This will take you to the Registry.
2. Find the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER on the left side. Expand the folder until you can see the Console folder.
3. Find out FullScreen in the right box
4. Right click on FullScreen and select Modify. A small box appears to let you modify.
5. See Base, keep the select of Hexadecimal and do not change it. See Value Data. If the Value Data is 0, change the value to 1. Click OK. Exit the Registry.
Step Two:
1. Click Start again. Go to Run and type in regedit to go back to the Registry.
2. Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Expand the folder until you can see the Software folder.
3. Expand the Software folder until you can see the Microsoft folder.
4. Find Internet Explorer upon expanding the Microsoft folder.
5. Now go to Main.
6. Find out FullScreen in the right box.
7. Double click on the FullScreen string. A box will appear.
8. Change the Value Name from No to Yes.
9. Exit the Registry and restart your PC.
If you are a computer novice, I suggest you apply these two ways. But you should apply them each time of opening IE.
1. Run Internet Explorer.
2. See the control panel of View.
3. Click View and select Full Screen.
Hereis another easy option that you can try.
1. Run Internet Explorer.
2. Right click on the IE toolbar.
3. Go to Customize.
4. Select Add or Remove Commands
5. A box appears to let you modify.
6. Add Full Screen to the Current Toolbar button.
7. Close the box.
