How to Fix Your Task Manager Enable or Disable Problem

Have you ever been crazy about Ctrl+Alt+Del? It takes you almost all night to launch your Task Manager.
How to Fix It?
Here’s how you do it.
1. Click on Start and then click on Run. Type in regedit to launch Registry.
2. Find out HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Expand the folder until you see SOFTWAREfolder.
3. Expand SOFTWARE folder till you see Microsoft folder.
4. Expand Microsoft folder till you see Windows folder.
5. See CurrentVersion. Expand CurrentVersion folder till you see Policies folder.
6. Expand Policies and look for the System folder.
7. Once you find the System folder, look at the right side of the registry editor. If you do, go on to step nine. Follow the steps below before proceeding to step nine.
a. Right click on the white part of the right hand pane of the box.
b. Select New and then go to DWORD.
c. Rename the new DWORD DisableTaskMgr. You can also right click on the new DWORD value that comes up and go to Rename.
8. Double click DisableTaskMgr. A smaller box appears.
9. Type 0 if you want Task Manager enabled. This is the default setting. Enter 1 if you would like to disable Task Manager.
10. Exit registry and reboot.
