1. Click Start, and then go to Control Panel.
2. In Category View, click Add or Remove Programs, then select Remove a program.

4.Remove optional Windows components
Optional Windows components come into your machine when you are installing Windows operating system, but some of them cannot be used constantly. The best way of solving the problem is to remove optional them from your PC to free up space. If you need them, you could install them from Windows CD.
To add or remove a Windows component:
1. Click Start, and then go to Control Panel.
2. In Category View, click Add or Remove Programs, and then go to Add a program.
3. On the left side of the menu, select Add/Remove Windows Components.
4. Follow the instructions in the Windows Components Wizard.
